The eibNode couples EIB lines, EIB areas or whole EIB worlds about ethernet.

The eibNode  makes a backbone speed (on the ethernet side) with 10 MBit/sec possible.

	Coupling of EIB lines and EIB areas over fast backbone (10 MBit/sec)
	Address status table of all EIB group addresses
	NetBroadcast, plant global main groups
	NetID, independently operating of different EIB plants about one network
	Extensive filter functions (EIB and UDP)
	Data saving of the last 10 000 telegrams

Interfaces

Active x component: a group of technologies that allows software components to communicate with each other in one network not regarding the different programming languages.

LabView: connection to LabView using a dlf file (dynamic link library) from M.E: Elektronik Innovativ.

NetxEIB: connection to the NetxEIB software from NETxAutomation.

NETx Open OPC: opc server software. opc server and client can run on the same pc. Very stable in combination with eibNode; multi-redundant. The software controls cyclical all connected eibNodes. Because a memory map of the facility is in each eibNode the server can shut down. The facility will still be controlled. And a complex initialisation when the software restarts is not necessary.
