The system is very simple and clear. The PDA must have merely a connection to the eibPort, for example about WLAN.

All project information and the editor are in the eibPort. Laying out the HIC and the assignment of the group addresses are carried out in a usually simple way.

system requirements

The eibPort must have a firmware version > 0.7.0 to support the HomeInformationCenter PDA. Otherwise an update must be carried out.

PDA

The HomeInformationCenter PDA and a JAVA VM must be installed on the PDA. J2ME CDC is a "small" Java VM, which is cut to the performance and requirements of a PDA.
