At the installation of the HIC, on a PC or server, a database and web server is installed and a database is created optionally. In this database the eibPort deposits the current statuses of the group addresses and provides these for the HomeInformationCenter MCE.

The installation of the HomeInformationCenters MCE and that one of the server programs is carried out via a common installation file and none special PC/server knowledge are necessary.

All further attitudes are configured directly in the eibPort. The HIC Project this lay out and manage in an editor of the eibPorts - in the usually simple way.

You need for the HIC MCE an eibPort with version >0.7.0. Otherwise an update must be carried out.
